Shoreditch Studio

We are making a series of bespoke handcrafted components for a new studio and office space in Shoreditch for a production company. The lower and ground floor of a former Victorian warehouse will be reshaped into a well-proportioned space using each component to form a hub of creativity. Each item is imagined as a small piece of architecture, and fundamental to each design are the specifications regarding materials, proportion and construction. 

The reception desk is composed of exposed solid oak panels and fitted with a bespoke painted local light fitting to create a simple and sculptural geometric form. Freestanding partitions offer a practical solution for concealing storage, but also provide additional wall space to display the company’s art collection. Designated areas to pin up sketches and artwork helps foster collaboration and exchange, and our bespoke fabric pin board has a stitched graph-paper style grid to assist in displaying ideas in a gallery-like way.
